Conference competition in the Power 5 is finally getting underway, and what a menu we have on Tuesday – which features the likes of Mississippi State vs Tennessee, Kansas State vs Texas and Virginia vs Pittsburgh.'

For this parlay we are going with 1'favorite against the spread,'1 underdog plus the points and 1 underdog on the money line. Here is a breakdown of each leg.'
Michigan -3 over Penn State (-110)
The Nittany Lions are in fine form, winners of 5 in a row to go along with an 11-3 overall record (2-1 in the Big Ten). However, keep in mind that this is a team that has taken 3 losses to opponents outside the top 25 (Virginia Tech, Clemson and Michigan State). Michigan also finds itself unranked, but there is no denying the talent that head coach Juwan Howard has at his disposal. Hunter Dickinson is one of the best centers in college basketball and Jett Howard – the coach's son – has made an instant impact as a freshman (14.6 ppg). The Wolverines just humiliated Maryland 81-46 on New Year's Day and I think they can keep the momentum going. It may not make up for the football team's loss in the College Football Playoff semifinals, but at least it's something.'
