College Basketball Saturday Parlay 12/9: +862 mega odds

The college basketball season is in full swing and Saturday brings us an absolutely fantastic slate, filled with nonstop action and marquee games from the Noon until deep into the night on the east coast. And what better way to celebrate a massive college hoops slate on Saturday than with a mega parlay? That’s right, I’ve crafted an NCAAB parlay for today’s games that pays out at nearly 9/1 odds at DraftKings Sportsbook. And l ike always, don’t forget to check out all of our college basketball predictions for today’s games.

Purdue Boilermakers -5.5 over Alabama Crimson Tide (-110)

In what is one of the marquee games of the day, I’ll be taking the Purdue Boilermakers to knock off the Alabama Crimson Tide in decisive fashion in Canada. Alabama has an electric offense, but the Crimson Tide are seriously lacking on the defensive side of the ball, ranking 267th nationally in points per game allowed. This is a team that has also played the 198th ranked strength of opposing defenses via KenPom, which certainly won’t be the case against a Purdue side that is 8th in adjusted defensive efficiency. Led by Zach Edey – arguably the most efficient player in the country – the Boilermakers have a top 5 offense and should score at will on Saturday. It also helps that Purdue has played a handful of KenPom top 10 teams, compared to an Alabama side with little experience on that front.

Utah Utes ML over BYU Cougars (+164)

Fading this BYU machine has not been a profitable endeavor this season, as the Cougars continue to beat the market and impress me with each victory. However, this team has yet to experience a true road test and I think we’ll get to see them under pressure in what should be a terrific installment of the Holy War rivalry on Saturday. The game will be played in Salt Lake City, which instinctively pushes me in the Utes direction as home underdogs. Furthermore, the Utes have played well against some of the best teams on their schedule this season, including a competitive loss to Houston and an impressive road victory over Saint Mary’s. Senior forward Ben Carson is questionable for the contest, but even if he isn’t at 100%, the Utes have the 3-point shooting to keep up with a BYU team that can score in bunches. I’ll back the home team in a massive spot for Utah in this one.

LSU Tigers -1.5 over Kansas State Wildcats (-110)
