Thursday's college hoops slate is headlined by No. 9 Kentucky's visit to Louisville while No. 1 Purdue hosts Jacksonville as we make our college basketball player props and best bets based on the best college basketball odds.
Wednesday's college basketball slate delivered from start to finish, with a trio of Big East favorites going down in their conference opener. The night then ended with Arizona prevailing in a track meet with Alabama. We especially enjoyed cashing both our best bets, including a same-game parlay in North Carolina's decisive win over Oklahoma.
As we turn our attention to Thursday, the cooldown of the college hoops schedule begins. There will be a couple days of decent games before players go home for the holidays, and then things really ramp up with conference play in January.

Thursday's college basketball player props
Kansas State made a surprising run to the Elite Eight a season ago in Jerome Tang's first year at the helm. Point guard Markquis Nowell was a big reason for the team's surprising season, which is why replacing him was always going to be a tough task. Tylor Perry, who transferred in from North Texas, is certainly doing his best in trying to fill that void.
This season, Perry is averaging 15.7 points, 5.5 assists, and 3.4 rebounds per game. He's shown a knack for hitting clutch shots during K-State's 8-3 start to the season, including a game-winning triple against Villanova in overtime.
Thursday's matchup is an in-state rivalry showdown with Wichita State (8-3), and will take place in a neutral venue in Kansas City. Still, we think oddsmakers are a bit low on Perry and Co. ShotQuality projects an 80.4-72.7 victory for K-State, meaning there is value on the Over and the Cats.

But if K-State is going to exceed expectations, we'd rather bet on the engine of its offense. Especially since Wichita State's defense will be focused on getting the ball out of Perry's hands. Perry has dished six assists in seven consecutive games, clearing this assist prop in all but one contest so far this season. His assist rate of 27.8% ranks 126th in the nation.
With a projection north of five dimes, we love taking the Over at standard -110 odds via DraftKings. This same Over is priced at -119 via Caesars, but is playable at -120 or better.
