College basketball schedule today has 27 games
We wrap up the month of January with a pretty light card in college hoops. There are a handful of quality games, but only 27 games total as we bid the first month of the year adieu. It has been a good month for the article, as I’ve run good on games that have fallen close to the number and been on the right side of the lopsided finals. That pales in comparison to how December went, but that month brought several challenges, both personally and with the schedules around the holidays and exam periods. Plus, I was just learning about all of these teams transitioning out of college football season.
With about two months worth of sample size now, I feel comfortable sharing the tracking sheet I’ve been keeping throughout the season. I am a content creator first, handicapper second and bettor third, so I want my written work to be more about sharing information and less about the results because I feel like gambling wins and losses are volatile, but finding a sound process will eventually yield positive returns. The returns have been positive thus far, up 7.2 units for the season with a record of 49-38 (flat betting 1.1 units to win 1 unit). Considering December was a -7 month and January is a +14.2 month to this point, the roller coaster has been up and running at full speed.
