The red hot Cleveland Guardians look to take care of business Saturday when they head to Texas to take on the Rangers. This is the second game of a three game series. The Guardians come into this series with a 2-1 lead in the season series. The Guardians are running away with the AL Central while the Rangers are playing out the string, well out of playoff contention.
The Guardians just took control of the AL Central with an incredible closing stretch. They come into this series having win 13 of their last 15 games and four in a row. Even better, they have dispatched of their two closes foes in the division. They took 4 out of 5 from the then second place Twins and then followed that up with a sweep of the now second place White Sox. As a result, the race for the division title is basically over.

The Guardians will start Cal Quantrill on Saturday. Quantrill has been the Guardians most consistent pitcher, with a record of 13-5 on the season and an ERA of 3.56 in 29 starts. Quantrill got a no decision in his last start, allowing 3 runs on 9 hits in 5.1 innings in a win over Minnesota. Quantrill is 1-0 against Texas this season, allowing 3 runs on 8 hits with 1 walk and 3 strikeouts in 7 innings. The Guardians have a team ERA of 3.54, which is 8th in the league. The bullpen has an ERA of 3.10, which is 4th in the league.
