The Detroit Tigers (43-67) will host the Cleveland Guardians (56-52) on Tuesday in the opening contests of a three-game series. The Tigers come into this series with a 7-5 edge out of the 12 head-to-head games this season.
The Cleveland Guardians must feel good about themselves after splitting a four-game series with the Houston Astros. The Guardians were blown out 6-0 and 9-3 in the series' first two games but bounced back to win 4-1 on Saturday and 1-0 on Sunday. The youngest roster in MLB is now just one game out of first place in the AL Central, behind Minnesota.
