The Detroit Tigers (5-9) will host the Cleveland Guardians (9-7) on Tuesday in the second game of a double header to begin a three game series. The Tigers and Guardians were set to play on Monday, but that game was postponed due to weather.
After taking the first two games of their three games series against Washington, the Guardians could not hold on to a 6-3 lead heading into the bottom of the seventh and lost 7-6. The Guardians are currently one game behind the Twins for first in the AL Central.
