The Cleveland Guardians and Minnesota Twins face off on Friday in an MLB showdown at Target Field.
The Guardians come into this game with a 70-65 but they are coming off a loss in the last game against the Kansas City Royals. The offense really struggled scoring only one run and that led to the defeat. The Guardians offense hasn’t been great and they are averaging only 4.13 runs per game which is 22nd in the league. Jose Ramirez is having a big season hitting 26 home runs and driving in 108 RBIs.
The Twins come into this game with a 69-67 record overall but they lost three of four in the last series against the New York Yankees. On Thursday they almost blew the game late but they got out of a bases-loaded game in the 9th and ended up winning 4-3. The Twins offense is averaging 4.37 runs per game which is 16th in the league but far too often it’s been inconsistent. In this game they are going to need the offense to be strong early. Jose Miranda has hit 14 home runs and driven in 60 RBIs.
