The Cleveland Guardians and Minnesota Twins face off on Sunday in an MLB game at Target Field. The Guardians have won the first two games of this series.
The Twins sit with a 69-69 record overall and if they lose this game, it’s going to be very hard for them to win this division. In each of the games in this series the Twins have tried to make a late comeback but fell short. The Twins offense isn’t good enough and they are averaging 4.37 runs per game. Carlos Correa has had a solid season hitting 19 home runs and driving in 54 RBIs so far this year.
On the other side of this matchup is the Guardians who sit with a 72-65 record overall and they have put themselves in a great spot. Coming into the season there wasn’t a ton of confidence with this team, but they have been quite good. Cleveland’s pitching is giving up only 3.99 runs per game and if they get another good start in this game, Cleveland should come away with the victory. Jose Ramirez is having a strong season hitting 26 home runs and driving in 109 RBIs.
