The Cleveland Cavaliers hit the road hoping for the same magic that has propelled them to an 18-4 start at home this season. Cleveland finished its latest home stand with three straight wins and has been riding the hot play of all-star guard Donovan Mitchell. After becoming just the seventh player in NBA history to score at least 70 points with 71 two nights earlier, it was Mitchell's passing that led Cleveland to a last-second win over Phoenix, 90-88. Trailing for most of the game, the Cavs rallied back and stole won from the struggling Suns. Mitchell, who finished with 20 points, found Evan Mobley all alone for an open 14-foot jumper with four seconds left to provide the winning margin. Mobley had been just 1-of-8 from the floor prior to hitting the game-winner.

“What people aren't going to talk about is him relocating,” Mitchell said of his 21-year-old teammate. “He got into my vision and he was righ t there in that moment, naturally. That's what makes him special.”

Cleveland continues to improve and looks like a team that could be a huge threat in the Eastern Conference playoffs. The Cavs rank first in scoring defense thus far and have been fairly efficient, ranking 13th in turnovers per game. Cleveland is just 24th in scoring offense this season but are 13th in 3pt shooting. Cleveland is a middle of the road team on the glass, ranking 16th in rebounding. They are just 7-10 thus far away from Cleveland.
