Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Atlanta Hawks Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 3-28-2023

The Atlanta Hawks jockey for playoff position in the Eastern Conference as they host the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday. The Hawks are 37-38, tied for 8th in the conference, while the Cavs are 48-28, 4th in the conference. These two teams have split two games this season, with both winning at home. Tipoff is at 7:30 p.m. EDT at State Farm Arena in Atlanta.

The Cleveland Cavaliers look to be pretty locked into the fourth place spot in the Eastern Conference. They certainly won't fall any further than that, as they stand at 48-28, 5.5 games ahead of the fifth place Knicks. They could still catch the third place Sixers however, as they are just two games behind Philly. The Cavs are playing good ball right now as they have won 4 straight and 6 of their last 7 games. Oh yeah, they have officially clinched a playoff spot.

The Cavaliers are coming off an easy 108-91 win over the Rockets on Sunday. The Cavs let the woeful Rockets hang around for three quarters, but then they clamped down in the fourth quarter and cruised to an easy win. Jarrett Allen had a game with 24 points, 14 rebounds, and 3 blocked shots while Donovan Mitchell tossed in 22 points. Evan Mobley added 19 points while Darius Garland scored 17 points in the win.
