The Atlanta Hawks look to finish the season strong as they host the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday. The Hawks are 29-30 on the season, 8th in the Eastern Conference, while the Cavaliers are fourth in the conference. Cleveland beat Atlanta 114-102 at home back in November. Tipoff for this game is at 7:30 p.m. EST at State Farm Arena in Atlanta.

The Cleveland Cavaliers start the home stretch of the regular season in fourth place in the Eastern Conference, well ensconced in a top 6 guaranteed playoff berth. It is doubtful that they will go down, as the fifth place Brooklyn Nets have been depleted and the Knicks and Miami Heat are too far back to overtake them, it seems.

But they could move into the top three, as they are just a couple of games behind third place Philly. The Cavs are 26th in the NBA in points per game, but they have the best defense in the NBA, allowing just 106.1 points per game. Donovan Mitchell leads the Cavaliers with 27.3 points per game while Darius Garland averages 21.7 points per contest. The Cavs bought out Kevin Love and cut him during the all-star break.
