Cleveland Cavaliers at Toronto Raptors – 11/28/22 NBA Picks and Prediction

The Toronto Raptors play host to the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Scotiabank Arena on Monday night.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have been in great form as they’ve won five of their past six games overall and they will be eager to stay hot after beating the Pistons in a 102-94 road win last night. Donovan Mitchell led the team with 32 points, Evan Mobley added 20 points with 13 rebounds on eight of 12 shooting while Darius Garland chipped in with 19 points and 10 assists. As a team, the Cavaliers shot just 42 percent from the field and eight of 28 from the 3-point line as they scored just 20 points in the first quarter to trail for most of the game, until the fourth quarter where they held the Pistons to just 16 points to run them down and win easily in the end. Garland had a night to forget as he shot just four of 19 from the field while Dean Wade finished with just three points on one of five shooting.

Meanwhile, the Toronto Raptors have been in decent form as they’ve split their last eight games and they will be eager to stay hot after outlasting the Mavericks in a 105-100 home win on Saturday. Fred VanVleet led the team with 26 points and seven assists, OG Anunoby added 26 points, nine rebounds and two blocks while Chris Boucher chipped in with 22 points and 13 rebounds on 10 of 19 shooting off the bench. As a team, the Raptors shot just 43 percent from the field and eight of 26 from the 3-point line, but they were scrappy on the defensive end in forcing the Mavericks into 16 turnovers and they did a great job of grabbing 17 offensive rebounds which just fueled them throughout the game. Gary Trent Jr. had a rough night as he scored just nine points on three of 12 shooting while Thaddeus Young finished with just four points on one of six shooting.
