The Philadelphia 76ers play host to the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Wells Fargo Center on Wednesday night.
The Cleveland Cavaliers have been in great form as they've won 10 of their last 13 games overall and they will be eager to build on their seven-game win streak after beating the Spurs in a 117-109 win on Monday. Donovan Mitchell led the team with 41 points and five assists on 16 of 26 shooting, Jarrett Allen added 17 points with 11 rebounds and three blocks while Darius Garland chipped in with 16 points and seven assists. As a team, the Cavaliers shot 56 percent from the field and nine of 28 from the 3-point line as they dominated the first quarter by 34-19 to take control of the contest early and they kept pushing till their lead ballooned to 21 points before they took their foot off the gas.
Meanwhile, the Philadelphia 76ers have been building nicely as they've won 12 of their last 15 games overall and they will be gunning for a fourth straight victory after routing the Rockets in a 123-104 win on Monday. James Harden led the team with 28 points and 10 assists on nine of 18 shooting, Tyrese Maxey added 26 points with six assists off the bench while Joel Embiid chipped in with 23 points. As a team, the 76ers shot 56 percent from the field and 15 of 34 from the 3-point line as they jumped all over the Rockets from the start and outpaced them in every quarter to lead by as many as 26 points in a game where they were never truly challenged.
