Cleveland is led by head coach Kevin Stefanski who is 19-14 in two seasons. The over/under win total for Cleveland coming into this season is set at 8.5.

The Browns went 11-5 during the 2020 season, went to the playoffs and beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 48-37 before falling 22-17 to the Chiefs in the Divisional round. At that moment, it seemed the future was bright in Cleveland. Unfortunately, the Browns can never seem to stop the circus from coming to town.

With high expectations, Cleveland missed the playoffs in 2021, finishing the season with an 8-9 record, and Baker Mayfield had a disappointing season while fighting to stay healthy. In the offseason, the Browns made a mega trade acquiring Deshaun Watson from Houston, which led to Mayfield and the Brons seeming to want to part ways mutually. Mayfield was eventually traded to the Panthers. As for Cleveland's new franchise quarterback Deshaun Watson..he 's suspended for the first 11 games of the 2022 season.

Cleveland will start Jacoby Brissett on Sunday. With the Dolphins last year, Brissett completed 62.7% of his passes for 1,283 yards with five touchdowns and four interceptions in 11 games. The best offensive weapon for the Browns is Nick Chubb who led the Browns rushing attack to the fourth highest rushing team total in the NFL. In 14 games last season Chubb rushed for 5.5 yards per carry, with 1,259 yards and eight touchdowns. Chubb averages 5.3 yards per carry for his carry and has never rushed for less than 5.0 yards per carry in any of his first four seasons.

The Browns ranked fifth in yards allowed last season and 13th allowing 21.8 ppg. Defensive end Myles Garret (16 sacks in 2021), linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (76 tackles in 14 games), and cornerback Denzel Ward are yard starts worth paying attention to when Carolina has the ball.
