The Orange Bowl will feature the Clemson Tigers heading into a showdown with the Tennessee Volunteers on Friday, December 30, 2022.

The Tigers squared off against the North Carolina Tar Heels in their last game, winning 39-10. Their last time out, the Volunteers won 56-0 over the Vanderbilt Commodores. In that matchup with the Tar Heels, Cade Klubnik had 279 yards on 20-of-24 passing (83.3%) for the Tigers, with one touchdown and no interceptions. He also carried the ball seven times for 30 yards and one rushing touchdown. Will Shipley carried the ball seven times for 18 yards (2.6 yards per carry) with one touchdown on the ground. He added four receptions for 26 yards. Cole Turner had three receptions for 101 yards (33.7 per catch) against the Tar Heels. Joe Milton went 11-for-21 with 147 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions for the Vols against the Commodores. Jaylen Wright carried the ball five times for 160 yards and two touchdowns. Jalin Hyatt recorded three catches for 86 yards (on five targets).

The Tigers are touchdown favorites in their matchup against the Volunteers. The total is set at 64 points.
