NC State will try to bolster its NCAA Tournament resume when it hosts Clemson on Saturday afternoon. The Wolfpack have won 11 of their last 14 games and are currently in the NCAA Tournament field in the latest projections. Clemson has lost four of its last six games and will likely need to win the ACC Tournament to make the Big Dance.
Clemson got off to a fantastic start this season when it won 18 of its first 22 games, including 10 of its first 11 conference games. The Tigers cruised to a 78-64 win over NC State in the first meeting between these teams. They have lost four of their last six games though, with one of those losses coming against a terrible Louisville squad. Clemson bounced back with a 91-73 win over Syracuse on Wednesday, but its NCAA Tournament hopes are likely dashed. The Tigers need to win their final three games of the regular season to have an outside shot at an at-large bid.

They have been shooting the ball well this season, ranked No. 33 in effective field goal percentage (54.0). Clemson also takes advantage of its trips to the charity stripe, knocking down 79.4% of its free-throw attempts, which is No. 5 in college hoops. The Tigers have struggled on the offensive glass, sitting at No. 330 in rebounding. They are facing an NC State defense that is No. 61 in adjusted efficiency. Senior forward Hunter Tyson leads Clemson with 15.8 points and 9.4 rebounds per game. It has been a balanced effort for the Tigers, with PJ Hall (15.2), Chase Hunter (14.3) and Brevin Galloway (11.0) scoring in double figures as well.
