The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs (1-1) visit the No. 5 Clemson Tigers (2-0) at Memorial Stadium on Saturday, September 17, 2022.
In their most recent outing, the Tigers knocked off the Furman Paladins 35-12. The Bulldogs’ last game was a 52-17 win over the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks. In that matchup with the Paladins, D.J. Uiagalelei had 231 yards on 21-of-27 passing (77.8%) for the Tigers, with two touchdowns and one interception. He also carried the ball five times for 36 yards. Will Shipley carried the ball 10 times for 68 yards (6.8 yards per carry) with two touchdowns on the ground. Beaux Collins recorded four receptions for 57 yards (averaging 14.3 per catch), while scoring one touchdown against the Paladins. Parker McNeil went 11-for-23 with 197 yards, three touchdowns and one interception for the Bulldogs against the ‘Jacks. Marquis Crosby put together a 16-carry, 196-yard game (12.3 yards per attempt) with two touchdowns. Tre Harris caught five passes for 91 yards (18.2 yards per catch), scoring one touchdown.
The Tigers are favorites (-34) in a projected lopsided matchup against the Bulldogs. The total is set at 52.5 points.
