The #4 Clemson Tigers (6-0, 3-3 ATS, 3-3 O/U) collide with the Florida State Seminoles (4-2, 4-2 ATS, 2-4 O/U) in an ACC showdown on Saturday night. The Tigers clobbered Boston College last week to remain undefeated. The Seminoles dropped a road decision against NC State in their previous bout. Clemson posted a 30-20 home win against Florida State last season.
The Clemson Tigers are undefeated halfway through the season. There was a few close games but most of their wins have been convincing, winning by double-digits in five of their victories. Clemson beat NC State 30-20 two weeks ago and was labeled huge 21-point favorites in a solid 31-3 road win at Boston College last week. The Tigers have covered the points in three of their four ACC games.
DJ Uiagalelei doesn’t put up huge numbers but continues to shine. The junior QB collected three TD passes last week and continues to produce on the ground as well. Uaigalelei now has 1442 passing yards accompanied by a 14:2 TD to INT ratio and has added 311 rushing yards. Will Shipley only had 10 carries last week but is a big threat. The sophomore RB accrued over 100 yards in the recent win against Wake Forest and has recorded 446 rushing yards.
Clemson has three receivers wit h at least 200 yards. Beaux Collins rebounded from a quiet performance against NC State by amassing 58 receiving yards last week and now has 290 receiving yards on the season. The Clemson offense has scored at least 30 points in all six bouts.

The Tigers' defense had its best performance of the season against Boston College. They held B.C. to only 254 total yards. The pass defense was an issue in a few of the games but the unit rebounded by holding B.C. to only 220 passing yards. The pass defense stands 95th while the rush defense is 2nd. The Tigers climbed one spot to #4 in this week's AP Top 25. Clemson is scoring an average of 39.3 points, ranking them 18th. The defense is limiting foes to only 18.3 points, good for 25th in the country.
