Clemson at California – 11/26/22 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Clemson Tigers and California Golden Bears face off on Saturday in a college basketball showdown at The Arena at NW Florida State. 

Clemson comes into this game with a 4-2 record but they are coming off a loss on Friday. Clemson scored 44 points in the second half against Iowa, but it wasn’t enough as they were defeated 74-71. Guard Chase Hunter had a strong game finishing with 21 points, six assists, and three rebounds in 28 minutes. Clemson is averaging 73 points while their defense is giving up 63.3 points per game. Chase Hunter has been the top player for Clemson averaging 16.2 points while shooting 52.7 percent from the field and 68.4 percent from behind the three point line. There are five different players that are averaging at least 10 points per game. 

On the other side of this matchup is Cal who sits with an 0-6 record, and it’s been an awful start to the season. In the last game against TCU on Friday, the Golden Bears offense only managed 48 points, and that led to the 11-point defeat. Devin Askew finished with 12 points, three rebounds, and three assists. Cal is averaging 58.3 points while their defense is giving up 65.7 points per game. Devin Askew has been the top player for Cal and is averaging 17.4 points while shooting 39.2 percent from the field and 34.5 percent from the field.
