The Reds are led by shortstop Kyle Famer, who has 123 hits and 67 RBIs. Second baseman Jonathan India and center fielder Nick Senzel each have 84 base knocks. They are facing a St. Louis pitching staff that is No. 9 with an ERA of 3.82. Right-handed pitcher Luis Cessa is going to be on the mound for Cincinnati in this game. He allowed five runs on eight hits and a walk across 5.2 innings against the Pirates in the first game of a doubleheader on Tuesday. Cessa allowed three home runs in that outing and has now allowed seven homers in his last 22.1 innings. He has a 4.84 ERA over that stretch.
