On Saturday, the Reds will be starting Nick Lodolo (2-1, 6.29 ERA), and the Marlins will be led by Sandy Alcantara (1-3, 4.53 ERA).
The Reds are fourth in the NL Central, 4.5 games behind the first-place Pirates. Although they have a winning record at home, on the road the Reds have been at their worst with a 4-12 record. They are also averaging just 3.4 runs per game on the road which is the second-worst mark in MLB. Overall the Reds have not gotten a lot of power ranking 21st in OPS and 28th in home runs.

The Reds' pitching and defense has struggled as much as the offense, ranking 27th with a 4.98 team ERA and -16 defensive runs saved. Taking the hill first on Saturday will be southpaw Nick Lodolo. Lodolo has been solid in his two road starts which were against the Phillies and A's. In those two road starts Lodolo has a 2.25 ERA and .186 opponent batting average against
