Cincinnati Bengals (9-4) vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-7)

Week 15 of the 2022 NHL season continues Sunday, December 18, with the interconference showdown between the Cincinnati Bengals and Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, and the kick-off is set for 4:25 PM ET.

Cincinnati meets Tampa Bay for the first time since 2018 when Tom Brady was still playing for the Patriots. The Bengals are listed as 3.5-point road favorites, while the totals sit at 44.0 points.

The Cincinnati Bengals (9-4; 10-3 ATS) are coming off a 23-10 home victory to the Cleveland Browns in Week 14. It was their fifth consecutive SU and ATS victory, as the Bengals covered a 4-point spread with ease. Cincinnati outgained Cleveland 363-344 in total yards and held the Browns’ powerful ground game to just 71 yards on 25 carries.

The Bengals rushed 26 times for 136 yards against the Browns, and Joe Mixon led the way with 14 carries for 96 yards. Joe Burrow went 18-of-33 for 239 yards, a couple of touchdowns, and an interception, while Ja’Marr Chase tortured the Browns’ secondary for 119 yards and a TD on ten receptions.

“The defense played unbelievably and that really ended up being the deciding factor in the game,” Burrow said. “And so that’s kind of showing the kind of team we’re becoming — we’re able to win in a lot of different ways. You’ve seen it over the last couple of weeks on the defensive end and the offensive end and the kicking game. We’re just a complete team right now.”

During their five-game winning streak, the Bengals have outscored their opponents by 48 points. Now, Cincinnati is tallying 25.8 points per game (7th in the NFL) while surrendering 20.4 points in a return (11th). Since enjoying a bye in Week 10, Burrow has thrown for 1,150 yards, nine touchdowns, and three interceptions, completing 63.6% of his passing attempts.

The Bengals listed 12 players on their initial Week 15 injury report. CB Mike Hilton and DE Trey Hendrickson missed Wednesday’s practice, while wideouts Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd practiced in a limited fashion.
