Their winning streak was in jeopardy last week, as they fell behind 17-0 against Tom Brady and the Buccaneers, but they forced four turnovers in the second half. They outscored Tampa Bay 31-6 following the intermission to win with 11 points to spare in the end. Quarterback Joe Burrow completed 27 of 39 passes for 200 yards and four touchdowns, remaining on the edge of the MVP race.

The Bengals come into this game ranked tenth in the NFL offensively, averaging 362.1 yards per game. Burrow has completed 68.2% of his passes for 3,885 yards, 31 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. His top targets have been wide receivers Tee Higgins and Ja’Marr Chase, combining for more than 1,700 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns. Running back Joe Mixon has rushed for 722 yards and six touchdowns, averaging 3.9 yards per carry. He is facing a New England defense that is No. 6 in the NFL, allowing 312.3 yards per game. Cincinnati has struggled against the Patriots in recent years, losing seven straight matchups between these teams.
