Cincinnati Bengals vs. Baltimore Ravens Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 10-9-2022

Cincinnati will try to extend its two-game winning streak when it travels to Baltimore for a primetime game on Sunday night. The Bengals are coming off double-digit wins over the Jets and Dolphins, while Baltimore is looking to bounce back from a 23-20 loss to Buffalo. The Ravens and Bengals are tied with Cleveland for first place in the AFC North, as all three teams are 2-2.

Cincinnati got off to a slow start this season after making a run to the Super Bowl last year, losing to the Steelers and Cowboys in a pair of three-point games in Weeks 1 and 2. The Bengals bounced back with a resounding performance against the Jets in Week 3, cruising to a 27-12 road win. They added a 27-15 win against Miami last Thursday, but the Dolphins lost quarterback Tua Tagovailoa to a head injury in the second quarter of that game. Cincinnati is amid a stretch of four road games in five weeks, including a game at New Orleans next Sunday. The Bengals are tied with Baltimore and Cleveland atop the AFC North, sitting at +250 to win the division in the latest odds at DraftKings.

They dominated Baltimore on the road last year, blowing out the Ravens in a 41-17 final. Cincinnati added a 41-21 win at home in the rematch, as quarterback Joe Burrow threw for 525 yards. Wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase had eight receptions for 201 yards in the first meeting, while Tee Higgins had 12 catches for 194 yards and two scores in the rematch. Higgins is coming off a 124-yard performance against the Dolphins last week. The Bengals rank No. 16 offensively, averaging 346.8 yards per game. They are facing a Baltimore defense that is No. 30, allowing 425.0 yards per game. Running back Joe Mixon, who was a Pro Bowler last year, has just 224 yards on 82 carries in four games this season, which is why the Bengals rank near the bottom of the NFL in yards per carry (3.1).
