Cincinnati at Tulsa – 10/1/22 College Football Picks and Prediction

The Cincinnati Bearcats and Tulsa Golden Hurricane face off on Saturday in a Week 5 college football showdown at Chapman Stadium. When these two teams faced off in 2021 it was Cincinnati that secured the 28-20 victory.

Tulsa comes into this game with a 2-2 record overall but this might be a team that is better than record. Tulsa lost to Wyoming in overtime and in the last game they only lost to Ole Miss by seven points. Tulsa used two quarterbacks in the last game and it’s unclear the plan for this game. Braylon Braxton completed 9 of his 22 passes for 83 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. Davis Brinn completed 7 of his 13 passes for 112 yards and a touchdown. Tulsa is averaging 39 points while the defense is giving up 31.8 points per game.

On the other side of this matchup is Cincinnati and they sit with a 3-1 record. Their only loss came by seven points against Arkansas earlier in the season. In the last game against Indiana, the offense scored 45 points and that was enough to secure the 21-point victory. Ben Bryant is under for Cincinnati and in the last game, he completed 24 of his 40 passes for 354 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception. The Bearcats are averaging 42.5 points per game, and the offense is going to need to have a big game here again.
