The White Sox fell to 7-14 on the season and stand fourth in the AL Central, four games behind the Twins for the top spot in the division. On Saturday, Chicago finished with only five hits with no player having more than one. Yasmani Grandal (his second), Eloy Jimenez (his second) and Gavin Sheets (his second) each hit solo homers in the loss for the White Sox. Dylan Cease didn’t factor in the decision as he threw four innings, allowing three runs on six hits with one walk and five strikeouts. Jimmy Lambert (1-1) took the loss in relief as he allowed one run (none earned) on one hit with one walk and no strikeouts in one-third of an inning of work.

Lance Lynn is on the mound for the White Sox as he logs his fifth start of the season in this contes t.
