Chicago White Sox (29-38) vs. Los Angeles Dodgers (37-29)
The 2023 MLB betting action continues Tuesday, June 13, with the Chicago White Sox taking on the Los Angeles Dodgers in the interleague showdown at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California, and the first pitch is set for 10:10 PM ET.
The Chi Sox and Blue Crew open a three-game series at Dodger Stadium. The Dodgers are firm -191 moneyline favorites with a total of 8.5 runs, so let’s take a closer look.
The Chicago White Sox are coming off a three-game home set against the Miami Marlins. After winning the opener 2-1, the Chi Sox have lost two straight contests to the Marlins, 5-1 and 6-5, falling to 29-38 on the season. Chicago has gone 7-4 over its previous 11 games overall, and the White Sox were four and a half games behind the AL Central-leading Minnesota Twins on Monday.
Over the last couple of weeks, the White Sox are hitting .228/.293/.396 with 21 doubles and 15 home runs in 394 at-bats. Their bullpen has done a good job during that span, tallying a 5-2 record with three saves and a 2.95 ERA, though a .193 BABIP and 4.42 FIP suggest the White Sox’s relievers have been pretty lucky.
Prior to today's series finale vs. Miami, the #WhiteS ox placed right-handed pitcher Liam Hendriks on the 15-day injured list (retroactive to June 10) with right elbow inflammation and recalled left-hander Tanner Banks from Class AAA Charlotte.

Lance Lynn will get the starting call Tuesday, and the 36-year-old right-hander is 4-6 with a bloated 6.72 ERA, 1.56 WHIP, and 80/29 K/BB ratio in 13 starts (72.1 innings pitched) this season. Lynn has been awful over his last two outings, giving up 13 earned runs on 16 hits and five walks across nine innings of work. He’s now in the 19th percentile in barrel percentage and the 16th percentile in expected slugging percentage.
