The Cougars opened their home schedule with three-consecutive wins for the second-straight season — something CSU hadn’t done since 2018-19 — but their struggles away from home tell the story of this team through 12 games. Sophomore guard Wesley Cardet Jr. leads the group with 16.2 points, 2.8 assists, 1.2 steals and 0.8 blocks per game, while sophomore guard Jahsean Corbett adds 14.4 points and a team-high 8.6 boards per contest. Chicago State is currently averaging 68.3 points per game on 42.5-percent shooting from the field.
