Justin Steele will make the start for Chicago on Friday. The 27-year-old southpaw is 4-7 with a 3.25 ERA in 23 starts, and on the road he is 1-3 with a 4.04 ERA. In just his second big league season, Steele has already faced the Brewers nine times and is 1-2 with a 2.69 ERA against them. At American Family Field, he is 0-1 with a 2.81 ERA in five appearances. On Sunday, Steele faced the Brewers at Wrigley Field and tossed six shutout innings of two-hit ball, but the Cubs still lost that game 5-2.
