The Washingtonton Wizards (1-0) host the Chicago Bulls (1-0) Friday night in NBA action. Last season, the Bulls won all three head-to-head games and covered the spread in two of those games.
The Bulls went 46-36 last season and went on to lose in five games to the Bucks in the first round of the East Conference playoffs last season. Chicago is starting the season with key injuries. Zach LaVine will miss the game Friday, and Lonzo Ball is expected to be out until late December.
Chicago opened the season with a 116-108 win over the Miami Heat as a 7.5-point road underdog. DeMar DeRozan carried the Bulls with 37 points, nine assists, and six rebounds. Ayo Dosunmu added 17 points, and Nikola Vucevic scored 15 points and a team-best 17 rebounds.
