The Chicago Bulls travel to Portland, hanging onto the 10th spot in the Eastern Conference with ten games left in the regular season. Chicago is a half-game behind Toronto for ninth place in the Eastern Conference and a game and a half in front of Indiana for the 10th spot. On Wednesday night, Chicago was trounced at home by the Sixers 116-91. The loss ended a three-game winning streak for the Bulls and a run of five wins in six games. The Bulls fell behind 23-1 to start the game before rallying, although it was not enough. DeMar DeRozan left the game early with a quad strain and was held to a season-low four points. Coby White led the Bulls with 19 points and Zach LaVine chipped in with 16.

“We didn’t make shots early on, and before you know it, it’s 23-1,” LaVine said. “Against a team like that, against that deficit, it’s going to be tough to crawl back out.”

The Bulls hope to hang onto the team's 10th and final playoff spot as they head out west. The Bulls are 20th in the NBA in points per game this season. They are sixth in field goal percentage and 14th in 3pt shooting. On the defensive end, the Bulls are 10th in scoring defense. They are ranked sixth in opposing teams' field goal percentage and have the 12th ranked 3pt defense. On the glass, Chicago is ranked just 24th in total rebounding. The Bulls are 11th in the NBA in turnovers and 10th in forced turnovers.
