Chicago Bulls (9-12) vs. Golden State Warriors (11-11)
The 2022-23 NBA season goes on with a huge 11-game Friday card, and the Chicago Bulls head to Chase Center in San Francisco, California, to take on the Golden State Warriors. These two cross-conference foes meet for the first time this season, and the Warriors aim for their 11th consecutive victory over the Bulls.
Chicago cannot count on Lonzo Ball, who’s still recovering from knee surgery. Golden State is without Andre Iguodala (hip), and the Warriors open as 6.5-point home favorites with a total of 235.0 points.
The Chicago Bulls (9-12; 10-10-1 ATS) continue their six-game road trip after splitting their previous four tilts. The Bulls started their journey with a surprising 118-113 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks, and after a 123-119 overtime defeat at the Oklahoma City Thunder and a 114-107 win against the Utah Jazz, Chicago suffered a heavy 132-113 loss at the Phoenix Suns.
Devin Booker dropped 51 points on the Bulls, who notched just 43 first-half points at Footprint Center in Phoenix. Chicago shot 50.0% from the field but made only four of its 25 attempts from beyond the arc. DeMar DeRozan led the way for the Bulls with 29 points and seven rebounds, Zach LaVine had 21 points and seven assists, while Nikola Vucevic added 17 points and eight boards.
“We threw everything at Boo ker,” Chicago head coach Billy Donovan said. “We trapped him, we threw a box and one at him. We tried to face guard him and to his credit had had a great night.
