The Detroit Pistons take the Chicago Bulls on Thursday afternoon in the City of Lights, Paris, France. The Bulls are 20-24 on the season while the Pistons come in with a record of 12-35. Chicago beat Detroit 132-118 back on December 30, easily covering the spread at home. Tipoff for this game is at 3:00 p.m. EST at the AccorHotels Arena in Paris, France.
The Bulls are not playing great basketball as they head across the pond for this game in Paris, but they have managed to crawl back into the playoff picture in the Eastern Conference by default — as teams have fallen back. The Buklls come into this matchup with a record of 20-24. They sit 10th in the conference, 12.5 games behind the first place Celtics. While they have lost three of their last four games, they are coming off one of their best wins of the season, as they beat Golden State on Sunday 132-118.

Maybe that win can get them headed back in the right direction. They beat a fully loaded Warriors team with Steph Curry back in the fold, and they did it by forcing 23 turnovers and committing only 10. The Bulls defense is not on par with what it was last year, but they rank a respectable 18th in points allowed. Scoring has not been a problem as they average 114.5 points per game, which ranks 13th in the NBA. Nikola Vucevic led the Bulls with a monster game, 43 points and 13 rebounds. Zack LaVine had a nice all around game with 27 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists. DeMar DeRozan missed this game, but he made the trip and is listed as probable for Thursday.
