Philipp Kurashev, Sam Lafferty, and Jason Dickinson have combined for 26 goals and 39 assists while defenseman Seth Jones is adding six goals and 21 assists from the point to help open up the offense.
The offense has been great recently but the defense has struggled, allowing 3.57 goals per game. Jake McCabe and Connor Murphy have combined for 6.1 defensive point shares but the rest of the unit has struggled, allowing opponents to find open shots on the net at will. In addition, goaltender Petr Mrazek has struggled with a .890 save percentage and a 3.81 goals-against average on 894 shots with -13.5 goals saved abov e average.
