The Chicago Blackhawks face the Anaheim Ducks with both teams looking to improve on rough seasons. The Blackhawks have a 21-32-5 record and are in last place in the Central Division but have won five games in a row. The Ducks have a 19-34-7 record and with only three wins in their last 10 games and are in last place in the Western Conference. Both teams are looking to improve in the Western Conference and the upcoming game looks to be a good one.

The Blackhawks have struggled offensively all season, scoring only 2.50 goals per game but recently have stepped up, scoring 20 goals in the last five games. Patrick Kane, Max Domi, and Taylor Raddysh have combined for 48 goals and 69 goals but the rest of the offense has also stepped up. The offense has been great recently but the defense has struggled, allowing 3.57 goals per game. Jake McCabe and Connor Murphy have combined for 6.1 defensive point shares but the rest of the unit has struggled, allowing opponents to find open shots on the net at will. In addition, goaltender Petr Mrazek has struggled with a .890 save percentage and a 3.81 goals-against average on 894 shots with -13.5 goals saved abov e average.
