Chicago Bears at Seattle Seahawks – 8/18/22 NFL Picks and Prediction

The Chicago Bears will play the Seattle Seahawks in preseason game number two for both teams at Lumen Field in Seattle, Washington on Thursday night.

The Chicago Bears are 1-0 in this preseason after defeating Kansas City by a score of 19-14 in their first game. Chicago fell behind early and trailed 14-0 at halftime, but was able to outscore Kansas City 19-0 in the second half for the win. Just like Chicago’s first game, Justin Fields will get the start at quarterback with Nate Peterman and Trevor Siemian finishing the game. Chicago has weakness on their offensive line and with their skill position players, so I am expecting another poor offensive performance from the Bears.

The Seattle Seahawks are 0-1 this preseason after losing to Pittsburgh by a score of 32-25 in preseason week one. Seattle fell behind 14-0 in the first quarter, came back to take tie the game in the fourth quarter, but lost the game on a touchdown with only seconds left in the game. Drew Lock, Seattle’s better quarterback last game, will not play in this contest due to COVID. Geno Smith will start the game for the Seahawks, with Jacob Eason playing later in the game. Seattle gave up a lot of points in their first game, but should play better against a poor Chicago offense.
