The Charlotte 49ers are making a late run through the C-USA, as they have won their last four games, including a win over North Texas who is 2nd in the conference. The C-USA is likely to only get one bid in the NCAA Tournament, so they will need to ride this momentum into the conference tournament. Williams is a 6'7 guard who leads the team in scoring with 12.6 PPG, and in made threes with 44 on the season. Williams has had 14 or more in his last three games which were all wins for the 49ers. Aly Khalifa is their top interior threat, the 6'11 sophomore out of Egypt averages 11.4 PPG and 6.6 RPG. Khalifa has struggled in his last two games, only scoring 6 points against Rice and 4 against North Texas. Lu'Cye Patterson is next up in scoring, the 6'2 sophomore guard adds 9.6 PPG for the 49ers.

Charlotte is ranked 112th overall by KenPom, which is 4th in the C-USA. They rank 129th in adjusted offensive efficiency and 112th in defensive efficiency. Charlotte has gone 2-2 in their last four home games.
