It’s an interconference battle on the hardwood as a pair of struggling teams search for a victory in the city by the bay. The Charlotte Hornets are on the road as they make the cross-country trek to face the Golden State Warriors Tuesday night. Charlotte was in action Monday night as they faced off with Portland so they play the second game of a back-to-back situation here. The Hornets edged the Lakers 134-130 on the road Friday night, winning outright as a 2.5-point underdog, in their previous contest. Golden State rolled to a 123-109 home win over Memphis Sunday night, winning outright as a 7.5-point underdog. In the all-time regular season series between the teams, the Hornets own a 33-32 advantage and have won the last two meetings. That includes a 120-113 overtime win at home in the first meeting this season October 29.
