Charlotte Hornets at Chicago Bulls – 11/2/22 NBA Picks and Prediction

The Charlotte Hornets and the Chicago Bulls duke it out at the United Center on Wednesday night.

The Charlotte Hornets have been in a rut as they’ve lost three of their past four games and they will be hoping to bounce back after falling to the Kings in a 115-108 loss on Monday. PJ Washington led the team with 28 points on 12 of 21 shooting, Kelly Oubre Jr. added 16 points while Dennis Smith Jr. racked up 15 points with seven rebounds, eight assists and six steals. As a team, the Hornets shot 51 percent from the field and 14 of 29 from the 3-point line as they looked to be in full control after dominating the first half by 67-52, but they came out flat to start the second half and quickly found themselves behind going into the fourth quarter. Gordon Hayward shot just three of 10 for his 12 points and the Hornets committed 20 turnovers as a team.

Meanwhile, the Chicago Bulls have been in decent shape as they’ve split their first eight games and they will be looking to stay hot after last night’s 108-99 road win over the Nets. Zach LaVine led the way with 29 points and five assists, DeMar DeRozan added 20 points, Ayo Dosunmu added 17 points while Goran Dragic chipped in with 15 points off the bench. As a team, the Bulls shot 43 percent from the field and 12 of 30 from the 3-point line as they struggled to keep pace with the Nets and trailed by 12 points in the first half, but they clamped down defensively and held the Nets to just 19 points in the fourth quarter to escape with the unlikely win.
