Charlotte at Davidson – 11/29/22 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Charlotte 49ers will take the 30-minute trip up to Belk Arena to take on the Davidson Wildcats for some Carolina basketball this Tuesday. Davidson and Charlotte have faced off in nearly every season since 1979, with the Niners holding a 30-18 lead, but the Wildcats have won seven of the last ten matchups.

Charlotte is 5-2 after defeating nearby foe Presbyterian over the weekend. The 49ers snapped a two-game skid with a dominant victory over the Blue Hose, picking up their second largest win of the season. Charlotte is scoring 65.1 points per game, while shooting 46.2% from the floor, and 33.3% from deep.

It’s been a collective effort for Charlotte through the first month of the season. Junior guard Brice Williams has reached double figures in five of seven games this season, and he leads the Niners in scoring (11.4). Aly Khalifa brings a well-rounded game to the floor, flirting with multiple triple doubles, while averaging 8.9 ppg, and team- leads in rebounding (7.1) and assists (4.3). Igor Milicic Jr. (8.4 ppg, 4.7 rpg) lines up alongside him, giving Charlotte a pair of towers in the frontcourt.
