Champions League Odds & Best Bets This Week for the Round of 16 Second Legiv class=”bodyContent col-lg-9 mb-3″>

The headline Champions League match will be in Munich on Wednesday as Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe look to turn around PSG's 1-0 deficit and advance to the last eight at the expense of Bayern. Read on for our Champions League picks and predictions for the Round of 16 based on the best soccer odds.

There were no runaway leaders in the first legs of this Champions League round, although Brugge will have a tough test already 2-0 down and on the road to Benfica.

Chelsea picked up their second win in 12 games in 2023 at the weekend. Dortmund, who have a 1-0 aggregate lead over the Blues, head to Stamford Bridge full of confidence, having won every game they've played since the start of the year.

Tottenham's only hope of silverware this season comes from the Champions League, they trail 1-0 to Italian champions, Milan, as the tie heads to London.

Here are our best Champions League bets from the Round of 16's second leg (odds via Caesars Sportsbook, DraftKings Sportsbook, and FanDuel Sportsbook; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Top Champions League picks

There's no Neymar for Paris Saint-Germain, but the French champions are unbeaten when Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe have partnered each other without him in the side. Mbappe broke the all-time scoring record for PSG at the weekend, and when he was asked about his future he said, “winning the Champions League.” Only Liverpool's Mohamed Salah (8) has scored more goals than Mbappe (7) in this season's competition. Messi leads the tournament for the most assists (4).

Bayern Munich have won 15 of their last 17 home games in the Champions League, although their only defeat during that span was to PSG. Messi is one goal away from joining Cristiano Ronaldo as the only players to score 50 goals in the knockout stages of the competition. The European crown is what PSG crave more than any title. They've got the players to turn this tie around.

The +290 odds from Caesars are the best among our top five books for this play. BetMGM and PointsBet price PSG as low as +260, while the next highest odds are +270 via FanDuel. I like this play because of how much this tournament means to the French club. Messi's had a phenomenal season so far and a Champions League crown will be the cherry on the top.

Borussia Dortmund are the only team in Europe's top five leagues to win every game in 2023. The G erman side have progressed from five of their six previous UEFA Champions League knockout stage ties when winning the first leg. Since the start of the year, Chelsea have scored just five goals in all competitions.

Dortmund are flying at the moment, and Chelsea have struggled in front of goal. A draw wins us this play, as well as a victory for the visitors. The weekend win for Chelsea will give the Blues confidence, but it was against a Leeds side that has the worst away record in the Premier League. Borussia Dortmund are among Europe's elite, as results prove this year. They'll be too much for Graham Potter's Chelsea.

Most books have the line at 0.5, this spread with DraftKings gives us positive odds for this play. Dortmund are a force to be reckoned with, which is why I'm confidently sticking three stars on this play. All they need for us to win is avoid defeat, which they're more than capabl e of doing against this Chelsea side.

Benfica have one foot in the quarterfinals, following their impressive 2-0 win in Belgium in the first leg. The Portuguese outfit have won their last three Champions League games. Club Brugge have kept clean sheets in each of their last three matches in the competition, however, they've failed to score in any of their last four Champions League games. Benfica have scored in each of their last 12 games in the competition.

Expect Benfica to keep it tight at the back because so long as they don't concede, they advance to the next round. Brugge have struggled up front in this tournament, and a goal for the Portuguese side could seal it.

Odds vary from each of our main books for this play. It's as low as +105 at BetMGM and +110 via Caesars. The best value is with FanDuel. For a tie that feels the most like a dead rubber out of all this week's matches, the odds for this Under play seem too good to be true, and that's why I'm giving it the four-star treatment.

Milan head to London with a 1-0 advantage. However, these two sides are having similar seasons in their respective domestic leagues. Both have won 14 games, both currently occupy fourth place and both have lost their most-recent match.

Spurs have progressed from two of their last three European ties after losing the first leg. Milan have only ever won one of their 21 away games against English sides in all European competitions. Tottenham's Italian head coach, Antonio Conte, returns to the dugout after recovering from gallbladder surgery. Conte is a fierce winner, who coached Milan's arch rivals Inter to the Italian championship in 2021. Conte has won five of his last six home games against AC Milan in all competitions.

Whicheve r way they get through, home advantage will be a key factor in this tie for Spurs. We just need them to advance to win this play. Tottenham has the superior squad, which should see them progress.

FanDuel's odds for this play is +122, with DraftKings at +135. Caesars is offering the best price at +140.
