In their last game, the Chippewas were beaten by the Oklahoma State Cowboys 58-44. The Jaguars’ most recent outing ended in a 48-7 win over the Nicholls State Colonels. Against the Cowboys, Daniel Richardson led the Chippewas with 424 yards on 36-of-49 passing (73.5%) for four touchdowns and one interception. Lew Nichols took 26 carries for 72 yards (2.8 yards per carry) and two touchdowns, while adding six receptions for 26 yards in the passing game. Jalen McGaughy had six receptions for 126 yards (21.0 per catch) and two touchdowns against the Cowboys. Carter Bradley notched 260 passing yards while going 17-for-25 with three touchdowns and no interceptions for the Jags against the Colonels. He added five carries for 10 yards and one touchdown. La'Damian Webb carried the ball 18 times for 98 yards (5.4 yards per attempt) with two touchdowns. In the passing game, he added two catches for 18 yards. Jalen Wayne caught three passes for 98 yards (32.7 yards per catch), scori ng two touchdowns.
