Tatum will be criticized no matter what he does. My theory is everyone hates Duke and Mike Krzyzewski so much that when Coach K retired the only place they could put their disdain was toward former Blue Devils.
While Tatum was the key to Boston's OT win in Game 1, he took a backseat to Jaylen Brown in Game 2, which has led to plenty of debate over who is really leading Boston. He didn't produce his best game, and Tatum didn't need to given much better Boston is than Indiana. Game 3 could be much of the same if Boston builds a significant lead against a squad playing with a banged-up Haliburton.
Tatum is averaging 41.9 points, rebounds, and assists in the playoffs and has only topped 45.5 three times. These odds imply a 52.83% probability he hits the Under, according to our odds converter, with a $10 bet paying out $18.93.

The only thing worse than some of these fits Haliburton gets off pregame is seeing him deal with injuries after such a promising start to the season. He's been coping with a nagging hamstring injury since January that's been hindering his scoring ability in the second half of the season.
Not only did he re-aggravate that same injury in the second half of Game 2, but Haliburton is also managing a chest injury suffered when he collided with Brown. While his status is up in the air, it's hard to see him being a difference-maker, especially from behind the arc with his inability to elevate off his left leg.
If Haliburton doesn't play, targeting TJ McConnell props would be a solid alternative. These odds imply a 50% probability Haliburton hits the Under, with a $10 bet paying a $10 profit.

I hope the good folks of Boston enjoy a little kick in their clam chowder because Spicy P is doing everything he can to heat up this series. Pascal Siakam has been far and away Indiana's best player through two games, and an injured Haliburton will only put more on his plate.
Siakam was incredible despite his team losing during Game 2, posting 28 points and five rebounds while shooting 76.5% from the floor. That came after a 24-point, 12-rebound performance in Game 1. The former Toronto Raptor boasts championship experience, and his skill inside the arc has been giving Boston trouble.
Siakam has gone Over 30.5 points and rebounds in six playoff games already, and whether Haliburton plays shouldn't impact this prop. The odds imply a 53.05% probability Siakam hits the Over, with a $10 bet paying out $18.85.
