Celtics vs. Mavs Same-Game Parlay for Wednesday: SGP Odds, Predictions for Game 3iv class=”bodyContent col-lg-9 mb-3″>

The Boston Celtics have beaten up on the Dallas Mavericks through two games of the NBA Finals, and we're looking at our top Celtics vs. Mavericks same-game parlay predictions based on the best NBA odds for Game 3 on Wednesday.

The Dallas Mavericks are grasping at straws as they return home for Game 3 of the NBA Finals. Down 0-2 to the Boston Celtics, the Mavericks will need to come through for the fans at American Airlines Center in Dallas on Wednesday if they hope to make this a series.

Game 3 is set to tip at 8:30 p.m. ET (ABC) with Dallas as a 2-point favorite, but the Celtics remain the heavy favorites by the NBA championship odds and the NBA Finals odds and betting trends don't favor them making a serious comeback.

While Luka Doncic has given Boston his best shot, and remains a threat in the NBA Finals MVP odds race, the rest of the Mavericks ros ter has been quieted.

Along with our Celtics vs. Mavericks player props, here are our best Celtics vs. Mavericks parlay predictions for Game 3.

SGP predictions for Celtics vs. Mavericks

The fact that the Mavericks could lose the NBA Finals to the Celtics and Doncic would still be considered for Finals MVP says all you need to know about how he's played in the postseason. Jerry West is the only player to ever win Finals MVP despite losing, could Doncic join him?

It's unlikely, but he's the best player in the series and his 3-point shooting almost got the Mavericks back into Game 2. Doncic went 4-for-9 in the loss and has gone 8-for-21 in the series (38.1%). His shooting has been the Mavs' secret weapon since Game 5 against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Doncic has hit Over 3.5 threes in eight of his last nine games while averaging 4.4 threes on 10.1 attempts. His success is why these odds imply a 60.78% probability this leg of the SGP hits, according to our odds converter.

Unlike Doncic, Kyrie Irving has been nothing but bad in a losing effort against his former team. Clearly the Celtics' defense has him out of sorts with both Jrue Holiday and Derrick White being among the best defensive guards in the NBA.

Perhaps Irving will find more consistency in an arena not full of fans who hate his guts, but regardless, his turnover issues are likely to continue. Even when Irving has been good this postseason, he's turned the ball over. He's averaging 2.8 turnovers per game in the playoffs, up from 1.8 in the regular season.

Meanwhile, White, Holiday, Jaylen Brown, and Jayson Tatum are all averaging over a steal per game in the playoffs. This defense is suffocating and Irving's shooting and ball handling have been impacted as a result. With him averaging 2.5 turnovers per game against Boston, it's no surprise these odds imply a 66.67% win probability.

The final leg of the SGP focuses on arguably the most polarizing player of the series thus far. Even though the Celtics have cruised to a 2-0 lead in the NBA Finals, Tatum is frequently the player whose performance is being dissected the most.

Simply put, he's shooting like a drunk hogging the pool table. But, he's such a well-rounded player that he's been impactful in other ways with a double-double in each game – doing it with rebounds and assists.

Averaging 24.9 points and leading Boston in rebounds (10.3) and assists per game (6.3) in the playoffs, I feel confident he'll clock his fifth straight double-double.

These od ds imply a 54.55% probability he'll finish with his 14th double-double of the playoffs. This prop takes the SGP to +375 with a 21.05% win probability and a $10 bet paying out $47.50.

Celtics-Mavericks SGP picks made Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. ET.
