Game 3 is set to tip at 8:30 p.m. ET (ABC) with Dallas as a 2-point favorite, but the Celtics remain the heavy favorites by the NBA championship odds and the NBA Finals odds and betting trends don't favor them making a serious comeback.
While Luka Doncic has given Boston his best shot, and remains a threat in the NBA Finals MVP odds race, the rest of the Mavericks ros ter has been quieted.

SGP predictions for Celtics vs. Mavericks

Perhaps Irving will find more consistency in an arena not full of fans who hate his guts, but regardless, his turnover issues are likely to continue. Meanwhile, White, Holiday, Jaylen Brown, and Jayson Tatum are all averaging over a steal per game in the playoffs. This defense is suffocating and Irving's shooting and ball handling have been impacted as a result.
