The Carolina Hurricanes face the Detroit Red Wings with both teams heading in opposite directions to close out the season. The Hurricanes have a 47-17-9 record and have the best record in the Metropolitan Division while the Red Wings have a 32-32-9 record and with a 4-8-1 record in March, they have fallen out of the playoff picture in the Eastern Conference. Both teams look to improve in the conference and close out the month on a high note and the upcoming game looks to be a good one.

The hope is that goaltender Frederik Andersen can finish the season strong as he has a .904 save percen tage and a 2.45 goals-against average on 717 shots with -0.2 goals saved above average.
