California vs. Washington State Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 3-8-2023

It’s the opening day of the Pac-12 Tournament with a first-round matchup on the hardwood in the city that never sleeps. The 12th-seeded Cal Golden Bears are the “road” team as they take on the fifth-seeded Washington State Cougars in an effort to play another day Wednesday afternoon. Cal fell 69-66 on the road at Oregon State in their regular season finale Saturday, though they did cover the line as a seven-point underdog. Washington State took down Washington 93-84 on the road in their previous game last Thursday, covering the line as a one-point favorite. In the all-time series between the programs, the Golden Bears own a 76-55 advantage but the Cougars have taken the last seven meetings. That includes a 63-57 road win in the most recent matchup on February 25.
