The Calgary Flames face the St. Louis Blues with both teams looking to improve from rocky seasons. The Flames have a 19-14-8 record and are in fourth place in the Pacific Division while the Blues have a 20-18-3 record and are in the middle of the Central Division. Both teams are looking to improve in the Western Conference and jump into playoff position and the upcoming game should be a great one as a result.

The Flames are having a strong season with their offense stepping up and scoring 3.05 goals per game. Nazem Kadri, Tyler Toffoli, and Elias Lindholm have scored 44 goals and 58 assists to lead the top two lines but the rest of the offense has also been great. Jonathan Huberdeau, Mikael Backlund, and Dillon Dube have combined for 24 goals and 45 assists while defensemen Rasmus Andersson and Noah Hanifin have added eight goals and 36 assists to put the offense over the top.

The offense has been great but the defense has carried the Flames, allowing only 2.93 with only 12 goals in the last five games.
