A nine-game point streak with five wins brings the Arizona Coyotes (7th in Central Division) to a domestic encounter against the Calgary Flames (5th in Pacific), who have dropped five of their previous seven decisions.

The Calgary Flames (26-20-11) were beaten for the third time in their last four fixtures (1-2-1), collecting their fifth defeat in their past seven games (2-3-2) following a 4-3 setback against the Philadelphia Flyers at Scotiabank Saddledome on Monday. Calgary has not won consecutive games since Jan. 21-23.

Goalie Jacob Markstrom stopped 18 shots on Monday and has now gone 15-14-7 for the season with a 2.93 GAA and a .889 save percentage. He has registered a 9-3-2 past tally versus Arizona with a 1.98 GAA and a .932 save percentage, while Dan Vladar (11-6-4 on the year with a 2.84 GAA and a .901 save percentage) is 1-0-0 against the Coyotes historically with a 2.00 GAA and a .900 save percentage. The Flames, meanwhile, are 16th in most goals scored per game this season (3.14), 15th in least goals given up on average (3.04), 25th in power play (19.0%) and 9th in penalty kill (81.6%).
