The Utah State Aggies (1-2) visit the No. 19 BYU Cougars (2-1) at LaVell Edwards Stadium on Thursday, September 29, 2022.
In their most recent outing, the Cougars defeated the Wyoming Cowboys 38-24. The Aggies’ last game was a 34-24 loss to the UNLV Rebels. Jaren Hall threw for 337 yards, with four touchdowns and no interceptions on 26-of-32 passing (81.2%) for the Cougs in that matchup against the Cowboys. Miles Davis took 13 carries for 131 yards (10.1 yards per carry), while adding four receptions for 21 yards in the passing game. Keanu Hill had 160 yards on five catches (32.0 per reception) with two touchdowns in that game. Logan Bonner totaled 246 passing yards while going 20-for-31 with three touchdowns and four interceptions for the Aggies against the Rebels. Calvin Tyler Jr. put together a 15-carry, 54-yard game (3.6 yards per attempt). Justin McGriff picked up 103 yards through the air after six catches (on eight targets), with one touchdown.
The Cougars are 24-point favorites in their matchup with the Aggies. The over/under is 60.5 points.
