The BYU Cougars will visit Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, NV for a neutral site matchup with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish this week. BYU comes into this game ranked number 16 in the nation at 4-1 overall riding a two game win streak after a 12 point win against Utah State. The BYU offense was on full display against Utah State as the Cougars compiled 397 yards and 280 through the air to score 38 points in the victory.
Jaren Hall controlled the game under center for BYU completing 17 of 27 passes for 274 yards and three scores, Christopher Brooks led all BYU ballcarriers with 90 yards and one score on 11 catches and Kody Epps added 86 yards and one touchdown on five catches as well.
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish have struggled through the first couple of weeks of the season with a 2-2 record overall after a 13 point win against North Carolina a few weeks ago. Offensively Notre Dame had their best game of the season against North Carolina with more than 570 total yards of offense including 289 through the air to score 45 points in the game.
